A former TV news reporter, S.W. Capps left the world of glitzy sets and pompous anchors for a full-time writing career.

His first novel, Salmon Run, was released in 2007.

With his latest work, Train in the Distance (an 'Amazon Breakthrough Novel Awards Quarterfinalist') he exposes the world of television news with a tale that's difficult to fathom, yet impossible to discount. After all, he has been there.

He now lives and writes in the Pacific Northwest with his wife, two children, and 'investigative' dog.
